When I saw the boy standing barefoot in the doorway gazing at the blazing sunrise, I was moved beyond words. I cried uncontrollably as I pondered the possible circumstances of this child's life. You have captured a powerful expression of God's love for him, and for all of us. I even shared your passages with my children.
